Pakready are proud to be the sponsors of this years Student Packaging Design Challenge - easyFairs® Student Zone. Student Zone is a new student ideas lab being held at easyFairs® PACKAGING INNOVATIONS 09 where packaging designers of tomorrow get the chance to showcase their concepts before thousands of product developers and Brand Managers.

Some of the country’s most promising design talent goes head to head over the two-day event on a live brief to design a revolutionary new FMCG packaging concept.

The six students – two each from Suffolk University, Solihull College, and Swindon College – will develop concepts from scratch, progress them through various design stages and, thanks to Pakready - a rapid prototype machine - generate working models of their creations.

The emphasis will be on saving materials and creating a radical packaging design that could steer new product development. A judging panel will determine which students have best satisfied the live brief, with a cash prize plus a work experience visit to a leading brand on offer for the winner.
